With elevations up to 2,100 meters, nutrient-rich volcanic soil, steady rainfall, and perfect temperatures, La Hermosa enjoys one of the world’s finest microclimates for growing specialty coffee. Their meticulous process starts at harvest, with cherries handpicked at peak ripeness using Brix readings, then processed the same day to ensure flawless quality. From careful fermentation to sun-drying on patios and raised beds, every step is designed to preserve flavor integrity.

The result? A beautifully clean, washed Gesha bursting with floral elegance. Expect delicate jasmine aromas, juicy apricot notes, sweet hints of Turkish delight, and a brown sugar finish—an unforgettable cup that dances with balance, brightness, and complexity.

We have found that this coffee can benefit from a slightly darker roast for espresso and lighter for filter/ pour over to ensure the best flavours come through. When ordering beans let us know your brewing preference and we will roast it accordingly.

Our Artisan collection of coffees are passionately and meticulously roasted to order in small batches of no more than 1kg at a time. This ensures optimal freshness and the highest quality control.
