Hidden in the forested highlands of northern Nicaragua, Finca El Bosque lies just 22 km northeast of Ocotal, in the community of Bayuncun, San Fernando. True to its name—The Forest—the farm spans 162 hectares, the majority preserved as lush, living forest, creating a vibrant ecosystem in which exceptional coffee thrives.

This microlot is a Red Catuai, processed as a raised-bed natural coffee slowly dried under careful supervision, the coffee develops remarkable sweetness, depth, and clarity, capturing the essence of its origin in every bean.

The Peralta family’s connection to coffee stretches back to the early 20th century, but a turning point came in 2008, when brothers Julio and Octavio Peralta committed themselves fully to the pursuit of specialty excellence. Since then, their work has become synonymous with curiosity, discipline, and innovation.
